River Horse – Europe has announced the summer release of Jim Henson's Labyrinth: The Board Game.

The new game, created in partnership with The Jim Henson Company, features five beautifully crafted figures capturing the likeness of the major characters from the movie.

Bit of a KS round-up.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/aw ... nav_search - This War of Mine. Looks great, random events, real scarcity of resources, decisions!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/43 ... f=kicktraq - Anachrony, time-travelling worker placement. Whether the causality mechanic is any good or this is just a time-travel Trickerion is another matter.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/56 ... f=kicktraq - Darkest Night, a staunch fantasy co-op in posh 2nd edition shenanigans.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/la ... f=kicktraq - Outlive. Post-apoc worker placement. I can't decide if it looks good or not; the minis expansion looks very gratuitous.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/93 ... f=kicktraq - Plague Inc. Surely you've tried the app? Inverse Pandemic, what's not to like?

http://www.sierra-madre-games.com/ - Sierra Madre Games now taking pre-orders for Pax Renaissance, BIOS: Genesis, and a Pax Pamir expansion.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/21 ... apest-1956 - Particularly interesting Kickstarter. The Hungarian Uprising of 1956, card driven, with either a 1 vs all or co-op vs the AI gameplay, solo mode, 1-4 players.

Some of you may know of Barbarossa, the card game with a WWII theme where the Wehrmacht is staffed solely by dangerously young scantily-clad anime girls. Well, in order to sell a few more copies to those inexplicably put off by such art, there is a new historical photo edition. The only problem I can see, is that they haven't updated anything else yet:
Barbarossa is a deck-building game for 2-5 players. It is set in a fictional Second World War setting in which cute German military girls rush against Moscow to defeat the evil magician Stalin. Each player controls a fictitious German army division invading a fictitious Russia during a fictitious WWII. The goal of the game is to conquer cities until finally taking (fictitious) Moscow.

Mmm, Khyber Knives preordered! I haven't gotten nearly as much Pax Pamir play as I'd like, but I do not regret the purchase!

I normally hate listening to (or watching) people talk about stuff, but for PP I will check it out.
